Serve Docs content over HTTPS
If you would like to deliver Docs content via a secure connection, you can do so by directing your customers to the HTTPS version of your Docs subdomain. Our SSL certificate covers your Docs content only if your Docs site is accessed using your unique Docs subdomain. In other words:
- Customers access your normal Docs subdomain using http://subdomain
Point customers tohttps://subdomain.helpscoutdocs.com to establish a secure connection
If you've elected to setup a custom domain using a CNAME, you will not be able to use HTTPS with your custom domain. We're unable to host third-party SSL certificates, which is why a secure connection cannot be established when using a custom domain with Docs.
