Forward from Office 365 Outlook Web Access (OWA)

This article will walk you through forwarding email from Outlook Web Access on Office 365, also known as OWA. This guide does not include Microsoft free email service emails that use Outlook.com - see Forward from Outlook.com for those instructions.

Let's get your forwarding address first! Open up your mailbox in Help Scout, click on the gear icon in the lower left-hand corner, and select Connection Settings from the dropdown menu.

On the Connection Settings page, click on the Receiving Emails tab, and you'll notice a funky looking email address - this is your forwarding alias. Copy it to your clipboard and head over to Outlook.

Log in to your Office 365 Outlook Web Access. Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner. Scroll to the bottom of the dropdown menu and select Mail under the Your app settings section. This will open a new navigation menu on the left side of your screen with the Mail section expanded.

Scroll down on the new left sidebar menu and click Forwarding under the Accounts section.

This will bring up the Forwarding options. Click the box to select Enable forwarding, and paste in that helpscout.net email address you copied earlier. We recommend selecting Keep a copy of forwarded messages as well.  Save your changes!

And that'll do it! Head back over to your Help Scout mailbox to see your emails.
