Trello (powered by Zapier)
Keep your conversations organized and make it easier to follow up with customers with this Help Scout to Trello automation. Once set up, every time a new conversation is assigned in Help Scout, Zapier will create a new card in Trello. This integration will help you visually keep track of important conversations.

Getting your accounts ready
You will need:
To connect your Help Scout to Zapier, you will need an active account, and an active mailbox. For information on how to get started with Help Scout, including how to create a new mailbox, you can start here. You can learn more about getting started with Help Scout on Zapier, here.
To link your Trello account to Help Scout, you will need an active Trello account. To learn about getting started with with Trello, look here. For more information on using Trello with Zapier, you can go here.
Connecting your accounts
Head over to the zap landing page and click on the Use this Zap button to get started.
Click Connect, then choose your Help Scout account from the list of accounts, or connect a new account.
- To connect a new Help Scout account, you need to enter your API Key, found in your Help Scout User profile, when prompted in the pop-up window.
Select a Mailbox and an Assigned User for the Zap to use as triggers. Hit the Save + continue button when you're finished.
Choose your Trello account from the list of accounts, or connect a new account. On the next screen, click the Allow button to allow Zapier access to your Trello account.

List option from the drop-down menus. You will also need to designate a
Name, using Help Scout fields. Click the
Save + finish button when you're done.
Test the Zap to make sure it works by assigning a conversations to the User specified in step four. Once you’re satisfied with the results, new assignments in Help Scout will create corresponding Trello cards automatically.
